Strength
Dumbbell Bent-Over Row
by Jace
Loads the upper back and arms while the hips and trunk hold a steady hinged position.
How to do it
- Hinge at the hips with soft knees until the torso is somewhere between 45 degrees and parallel — as low as you can hold with the back long.
- Row both dumbbells toward the lower ribs, elbows tracking close to the body.
- Lower under control until the arms are straight, breathing out as you row.
- Stop the set when the torso starts to rise on every rep.
