Standing Hip Hinge
by Kaira
The shape you are in every time you pick something up — worth a slow minute before it happens in a hurry.
How to do it
- Stand tall, feet hip width, knees softly bent — never locked.
- Push the hips straight back and let the chest travel forward, keeping the back long from tail to head.
- Stop when the back of the thighs takes over, then stand tall by driving the hips forward.
- Keep the range short and the back flat — this is a shape to feel, not a stretch to chase.
