Heavy Bag — Jab & Cross
by Jace
The first two punches anyone learns, and a round of them is honest work for your breathing, shoulders and footwork.
How to do it
- Wrap your hands and glove up before you touch the bag.
- Stand one long arm away, chin down, hands by your cheeks.
- Jab with the lead hand, then turn the back hip and heel into the cross.
- Land flat on the knuckles with a straight wrist and a soft elbow — snap the hand back to your face instead of pushing the bag.
