Strength
Dumbbell Reverse Lunge
by Jace
Loads one leg at a time with the step going backwards, which keeps the front knee travelling less than in a forward lunge.
How to do it
- Stand tall with a dumbbell in each hand, arms relaxed.
- Step one foot straight back and lower until the back knee is just above the floor.
- Push through the front heel to come back to standing, torso upright.
- Alternate sides — and if the balance is wobbly, put the weights down and stay near a wall.
