Dumbbell Step-Up
by Kaira
One leg lifts your bodyweight plus the dumbbells, which is a simple way to load the legs with a very small setup.
How to do it
- Stand facing a stable bench or box around knee height — one that will not slide or tip — with a dumbbell in each hand.
- Put one whole foot on the surface and drive through that heel to stand up.
- Step down softly with the other foot — no jumping or bouncing off the bottom.
- Start lower and without weights if the step feels shaky; add height only when every rep is controlled.
